Toddler Who Fell Out Of 2nd-Story Window At Home And Safe: Police
First responders took the toddler to the Ascension hospital and later Children's Hospital.

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI -- A toddler fell from a home's second-story window - and survived the fall Wednesday night, according to authorities. The 2-year-old boy crawled on top of the living room furniture, pushed the screen out, and fell through the open window, according to police.
Mount Pleasant police told Patch that the boy was home and safe as of Thursday afternoon.
On Wednesday, Oct. 10, Mount Pleasant police officers and South Shore rescue personnel responded to the 1300 block of Oakes Road for a report that a toddler had fallen from a second-story window.

First responders took the toddler to the Ascension hospital, and later Children’s Hospital, with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries, reports stated.
Police told Patch that the boy's mother was home at the time of the accident, and tried to prevent the boy's fall from happening. Police said the ground below the window consisted of both sidewalk and garden mulch.
