Toys 'R Us To Lay Off More Than 300 Wisconsin Employees
According to company officials, all store employees were notified of their impending layoff via Federal Express. Here's when they close:

RACINE, WI — Toys 'R Us has officially notified the State of Wisconsin about when they are officially closing all of their Wisconsin stores and how many employees will be laid off.
According to a document submitted to the state Department of Workforce Development, Toys 'R Us will lay off 326 employees, beginning on May 14 in several cities including Appleton, Brookfield, Green Bay, Madison, Onalaska, Milwaukee, Racine and Janesville.
According to company officials, all store employees were notified of their impending layoff via Federal Express.

The remaining eight Toys R Us stores in Wisconsin, will close, according to reports out earlier this month. Toys R Us officials in late January already announced that two Wisconsin Toys R Us stores - in Brookfield and Madison would close in 2018.
The remaining stores around Wisconsin including Babies R Us stores will also close as well. CEO David Brandon announced the possible liquidation Wednesday at the Toys R Us headquarters in New Jersey. About 33,000 workers will lose their jobs if Toys R Us closes all its U.S. stores.

"The 70-year-old chain, which filed for bankruptcy protection in September, has more than 700 remaining U.S. locations, including Babies 'R' Us stores. It would be one of the biggest retail liquidations since The Sports Authority filed for bankruptcy in 2016 with 14,500 workers and closed more than 460 stores," the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.
