Traffic Stop Nets Nearly 100 Grams Of Crack Cocaine: Report
Authorities in Racine County say they made two drug busts within minutes of each other. One netted authorities nearly 100 grams of crack.

RACINE COUNTY, WI — Authorities in Racine County say they made two drug busts within minutes of each other and that one of the two resulted in busting a man traveling with nearly 100 grams of crack cocaine.
The Racine County Sheriff's office says that a deputy assigned to the Strategic Patrol Unit stopped a vehicle in the area of S. Memorial Dr. and 21 st Street in Racine just after noon on Thursday for speeding 46 miles per hour in a 30 mile-per-hour zone.
Authorities say the driver, Warner E. Solomon, 33, Racine, was arrested on multiple drug charges after deputies found nearly 100 grams of crack cocaine in the vehicle.

The deputy’s investigation lead to the following items being located and seized from the vehicle:
- 92.5 grams of crack cocaine
- 2 loaded semi-automatic handguns
- 3 digital scales
- 3 cell phones
- $4,679.00 in U.S currency
Two Illinois Men Busted On Drug Charges

According to a report from the Racine County Sheriff's office, a deputy assigned to the Strategic Patrol Unit was on patrol in the area of Highway G and I-43 at about noon on Thursday when the they stopped a vehicle for multiple traffic violations.
As the deputy conducted the traffic stop, authorities say the deputy learned that the two occupants of the vehicle, Donte D. Brown and Jeremy Statham, of Illinois, were traveling with drugs in their vehicle.
According to authorities, the deputy’s investigation lead to the following items being located and seized from the vehicle and its occupants:
- 26.2 grams of heroin in 49 individual bags.
- 6.6 grams of crack cocaine in 24 individual bags.
- 5.1 grams of Marijuana in 2 individual bags.
- 1 loaded semi-automatic handgun
- 1 digital scale
- 2 cell phones
Authorities say the seized semi-automatic handgun located inside the vehicle was reported as stolen out of Kenosha. Statham and Brown were both arrested on suspicion of multiple drug charges, and are now being held in the Racine County Jail.
Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling said in a statement: “Both of tonight’s traffic stops and drug arrests are another unfortunate reminder of the true depth of the drug trade here in Racine County. Drugs, guns, violence and crime go hand in hand.”
