Waterford Man Killed in ATV Crash

WISCONSIN -- A 54-year-old man from Waterford has died after a Saturday ATV crash in Waupaca County, according to Sheriff's officials there.

According to the Waupaca County Sheriff's office, the accident was called in at about 1:35 p.m. Saturday, and when police arrived a short time later, he was confirmed deceased on the scene.

According to a report from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, investigators believe the man was unable to negotiate a curve, went into a ditch, hit a tree and was thrown from the ATV. He was not wearing a helmet.

His name has not been released pending notification of family members.
