Waterview Lane Scissors Incident Resolved Peacefully: Report
Police in Waukesha say a 22-year-old Waukesha man has been charged with disorderly conduct.

WAUKESHA, WI -- Police in Waukesha say a 22-year-old Waukesha man has been charged with disorderly conduct after officers had to enter the house to arrest him following a disturbance involving a pair of scissors.
According to reports, Waukesha police officers were dispatched to a house on the 1800 block of Waterview Lane just before 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 20 on a report of a domestic disturbance.
Police said they fielded a call stating that a person was intoxicated and damaging items inside the house, and that family members were unable to evacuate the house, and had locked themselves in various rooms for their safety.

Police said the man had been armed with a pair of scissors during the incident.
According to reports, police set up a perimeter in the area and initially tried getting him out of the house with the use of public address commands. When the commands did not prove to be effective, reports indicated that officers entered the home just after midnight and had him in custody a few minutes later.

Police say the man has been charged with disorderly conduct in Waukesha County Circuit Court.
