Waukesha Man Caught on Camera Robbing Friends Waterford Home for Heroin Money
Man told police "He was a heroin addict and he was extremely high when he did this, he was unsure of the exact dollar amount (stolen)."

RACINE -- A 24-year-old Waukesha man turned himself in after the parents of one of his friends caught him on video burglarizing the home to feed his heroin addition.
Raymond Dorband, Waukesha, faces two counts of felony burglary and could face up to 15 years in prison or $50,000 in fines, or both if he is convicted.
According to his criminal complaint, Dorband was caught on cameras set up inside the friend's house, after the friend's parents noticed that someone had entered their Waterford-area house and caused damage to the property during a previous incident.

After the first theft, police say the parents left $500 as "bait" in the event of a similar theft in the future. They set up trail cameras in the home to collect video evidence, the complaint said.
According to the complaint, Dorband had admitted to stealing between $800-1000 from a vase in the kitchen of his friend's home on two occasions, but "because he was a heroin addict and he was extremely high when he did this, he was unsure of the exact dollar amount."

Dorband is currently being held in the Racine County Jail on a $2,000 cash bond and is scheduled for his preliminary hearing in court on Sept. 1.
