Wisconsin 66th State Assembly Primary: Neubauer Advances
Greta Neubauer advances to the Tuesday, Jan. 16 general election without a Republican opponent or otherwise on the ballot.

RACINE, WI — Voters in Racine granted Greta Neubauer a primary-election victory Tuesday over 3rd District Alderman John Tate in the Wisconsin's 66th Assembly race.
Neubauer advances to the Tuesday, Jan. 16 general election without a Republican opponent or otherwise, and will likely end up filling the seat vacated when Cory Mason gave up the seat to become Mayor of Racine.
Neubauer garnered 1,518 votes to Tate's 1,301 votes, according to unofficial election results.

Prior to Tuesday's primary, Neubauer said she is planning to take up common cause to oppose state-level intervention that she says lowers the quality of life for Racine residents.
Prior to her candidacy for the 66th State Assembly seat, Neubauer worked for Mason as a legislative aide.

Neubauer is the daughter of former state Rep. Jeff Neubauer and Lisa Neubauer, a judge currently serving on the Wisconsin state Court of Appeals.
