Woman, 28, Dies In Collision With Dump Truck: Report
Investigators determined that the sedan approached the intersection, stopped at the stop sign and drove directly into the path of the truck.

RACINE COUNTY, WI — A 28-year-old woman is dead after authorities say she drove into the path of a dump truck on Wednesday afternoon in western Racine County.
On Wednesday, June 6, authorities in Racine County responded to a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Highway 11 and English Settlement Ave. in Town of Burlington just before 2 p.m.
When Racine County Sheriff's deputies arrived on the scene, they learned that a dump truck pulling a trailer with a bucket loader collided with a 2015 Toyota sedan, resulting in the death of a 28-year-old woman.

Investigators determined that the sedan approached the intersection, stopped at the stop sign and then drove directly into the path of the dump truck, which did not have a stop sign and had the right of way.
Authorities said that driver of the sedan, a 28-year-old female from the Waterford area was pronounced deceased at the scene and the dump truck driver was treated for minor injuries at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington.

This crash remains under investigation and the names of those involved are not being released pending proper notification of family members, sheriff's officials say.
