Woman Found Passed Out In Car Lied About Drug Deal: Report

Officers responded to the area of Harvey Drive and Shelley Drive in Racine on a report of a woman seated unconscious in her running vehicle.

RACINE, WI — Police in Racine say a woman found passed out in her car from an apparent heroin injection, also lied to investigators about a drug deal just before she was found.

On July 18, 2017, officers responded to the area of Harvey Drive and Shelley Drive in Racine on a report of a woman seated unconscious in her running vehicle near Maple Grove Park.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Racine County, officers saw that the woman, later identified as Lisa Corrin Geiger of Kenosha, to have a needle sticking out of her left arm, with a tourniquet secured around her arm.

Police stated they attempted to wake up Geiger by banging on the door and window, and attempted to break the passenger-side window, however the window did not break. The rapping on the window did manage to wake Geiger up, according to reports.

According to the complaint, officers saw several needles in the passenger seat and a jewelry box that was in between the driver and passenger seats. Inside were four bindles of heroin totaling 0.7 grams in addition to metal tins and burned spoons.

According to the criminal complaint, Geiger told police that she met a dealer near the Holy Communion Church parking lot. When police investigated the incident further, however, they could not find any messages to or from the alleged heroin dealer on Geiger's phone. In addition, investigators reviewed church surveillance video only to find that no such drug deal took place at the time she said.

According to court documents, Geiger was arrested for false swearing under oath and obstructing an officer.
