Woman Stabs Husband, Motorcycle On Fourth Of July: Report

Authorities say a woman picked up a large kitchen knife, and stabbed her husband and his bike several times.

RACINE COUNTY, WI — A Fourth of July argurment between a Racine County couple escalated into a stabbing after police say the wife pulled out a kitchen knife during the argument.

According to the Racine County Sheriff's office, on Wednesday, July 4 just before 3 a.m., the Racine County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a reported stabbing at a residence on Fairview Court in the Town of Burlington.

Deputies arrived and found that Keith E. Lee, 54 years old and a resident of the Town of Burlington said he had been stabbed by his wife, Star L. Lee, 46 years old and a Town of Burlington resident.

According to authorities, they learned that both had been drinking, and started arguing with each other. Keith Lee said that during the argument his wife Star grabbed a large kitchen knife, stabbed him in the chest and
then stabbed his motorcycle several times. Keith Lee’s injury was non life-threatening.

Authorities say Keith Lee was treated for his stab wound by Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington and released.

Star Lee was arrested and held at the Racine County Jail for the following domestic violence charges: attempted first degree intentional homicide, recklessly endangering safety, battery causing substantial bodily harm, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.
