Accident Closes Highway 36 Southbound at Muskego Dam Road

Police were called to the scene of an accident on Highway 36 in Muskego at Muskego Dam road around 10am Monday morning.  A dump truck and minivan had collided, with both drivers being sent to the hospital.

Highway 36 was closed in the southbound lanes while emergency crews and investigators could conduct their review of the scene, and for the dump truck, which ended up in the ditch just south of Muskego Dam Road, and minivan to be towed from the roadway.

According to Capt. John La Tour with MPD, little information could be confirmed as the accident was still being investigated, however he did confirm that Flight for Life was summoned, but could not respond because of the low ceiling for flying.
