• Waukesha County Parks permanently closes Muskego Park Yellow/Orange Trail Corridor (gmtoday.com) — Trail users in Muskego should know the Yellow/Orange corridor at Muskego Park is now permanently closed after storm damage and long-term erosion concerns. Waukesha County Parks will instead restore that area to natural conditions and, starting in 2027, launch a three-year effort to improve and stabilize the park's core woodland trail network, with more details still to come.
   

• Neenah football aims high with tough early schedule (greenbaypressgazette.com) — Neenah's football team is gearing up for another brutal early-season schedule after last year's nonconference tests against Muskego and eventual Division 1 champion Arrowhead. With standout quarterback Ashton Van Beek and several key playmakers returning, the Rockets hope tough August matchups against Notre Dame and Arrowhead will harden them for a competitive Fox Valley Association slate that Muskego fans may watch closely.
