• Muskego High School graduate creates new way for students to find volunteer opportunities (gmtoday.com) — Muskego teens now have a homegrown website, "Timeful Volunteering. Muskego," created by a recent Muskego High School graduate to match students with local volunteer opportunities that fit their interests. Built with help from the Muskego Area Chamber of Commerce, the site aims to turn required service hours into meaningful connections and has already earned its creator a Forward28 community award.
• Waukesha Common Council votes to discontinue flock program after 2026 (gmtoday.com) — Muskego residents should know that Waukesha's Common Council has voted to end its use of Flock license plate cameras after 2026, following a lawsuit that also names Muskego and other Waukesha County communities. City leaders in Waukesha say they'll seek future public safety tools that better align with their expectations for transparency, privacy, and community trust.
• Verona Summer ID: Player Analysis (prepbaseballreport.com) — A Muskego High School player, sophomore infielder and pitcher Luke Kardelis, earned recognition among the top prospects at a statewide Verona Summer ID baseball showcase. The detailed scouting report highlights his bat speed, defensive skills, and athletic testing, while also listing other Wisconsin standouts and upcoming fall showcase opportunities around the state.
