In Wisconsin, 1.46 million adults have pre-diabetes.Because this disease is increasing by large numbers yearly, the Wisconsin Lions Foundation with local Lions and Lioness Clubs are promoting "Diabetes Alert Day" throughout Wisconsin. March 26, 2013 has been designated "Diabetes Alert Day" by the American Diabetes Association.Take the diabetes risk test at www.diabetes.org/risk-test.jsp If you are at risk for diabetes, contact your healthcare provider for further discussion. Please remember that one-fourth of the people with diabetes don't know it.
