Muskego's Xavier Jansen Dominates in Short Sprints

Xavier Jansen, who is a senior at Muskego High School and a sprinter on the school track team, has been running this winter with his USATF/AAU track team, the Silver Spring Spartans from Milwaukee. He has thus far run in three USATF/AAU sponsored multi-state events and has won all three short sprint races he has been in. They are follows:

2013 USATF Midwest Zone Championships - 2/02/2013 Proviso West H.S., IL. 1st place 55m time 6.50 (Meet Record)

2013 USATF Northern Track Classic - 2/09-2/10/2013 Illinois Wesleyan U. 1st Place 60m time 7.06

All events use Fully Automatic Timing (FAT).

The 6.50 mark is only .01 seconds from last year’s Wisconsin high school state record in the 55 meter dash of (6.49).
