Steve Fischer Joins Wixon as Pricing Specialist

Wixon, a manufacturer of seasonings, flavors, and technologies for the food and beverage industry, has announced the appointment of Steve Fischer to the newly-created position of Pricing Specialist.

 

Fischer will be responsible for maintaining recurring price lists for all of Wixon’s divisions, as well as developing new price quotes for internal stakeholders. He will report to Bob Schmidt, Wixon’s Production and Inventory Control Manager.

Fischer previously served as a Mutual Fund Compliance Administrator for U.S. Bank. He received his master of business administration degree and bachelor of science degrees in finance and marketing from Marquette University in Milwaukee.

“The addition of Steve to our Finance Department enables us to provide pricing to our customers on a more expedient basis,” said Schmidt. “His background will also allow us to do additional analytical research into cost implications, as well – from simulations to actual pricing of commodities. We anticipate his contributing to streamlined processes throughout Wixon’s R&D Center, Accounting, and Purchasing Departments, which will ultimately benefit our customers.”

 

A native of Muskego, Wis., Fischer currently resides in downtown Milwaukee.
