Ron Faiola, award winning author of Wisconsin Supper Clubs, An Old-Fashioned Experience, appears at The Oilerie® Brookfield

As part of the Brookfield Girlfriends Getaway Weekend, The Oilerie® Brookfield is hosting a book signing with award-winning author, Ron Faiola. The signing of his book, Wisconsin Supper Clubs, An Old-Fashioned Experience, will take place at The Oilerie® Brookfield on Saturday, April 20, 2013 starting at 2:00 p.m.

Jackie Zach, owner of The Oilerie® Brookfield, said, “We’re delighted to be able to have Ron Faiola join us here at The Oilerie® Brookfield, and we’ll be preparing and sampling our version of supper club foods that day. Please join us for a special experience.”

Ron Faiola is an award-winning filmmaker who directed and produced the documentary Wisconsin Supper Clubs, and can speak engagingly about the long history and popularity of supper clubs. Supper clubs are hugely popular in Wisconsin and are regularly frequented by Midwestern foodies “in the know.” The book serves as an attractive guide to help readers discover this delightful Midwestern tradition for themselves and will be available for purchase.
