Come Join Muskego in Praying for America
Please commit to pray and come join us! This year's "Pray for America" theme is based on Matthew 12:21 "In His Name the Nations Will Put Their Hope."
Do you agree that our country and its leaders need prayer? If so, please join us for the 62nd annual observance of the National Day of Prayer (NDP) which will occur this year on Thursday, May 2nd.
Members of the Muskego community and surrounding areas have come together in prayer since the 53rd annual NDP event in May, 2004. Once again, the meeting will take place at the Muskego City Hall, W182 S8200 Racine Avenue, 7 – 8:15 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.)
This is the day set aside to remember, thank and pray for all the brave members of our military (and their families) who sacrifice daily to defend our country and our freedoms. This is the time for Christians to set aside any political or doctrinal differences and focus solely on praying. We gather together in unity, believe in the power of prayer to effect Godly change, and stand in the gap on behalf of the United States of America.

The event will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. with a flag ceremony (posting of the colors) led by members of the VFW Post 8171. The meeting will continue with patriotic songs, scripture readings and prayer covering these specific areas: Government, Church, Military, Family, Education, Media and Business.
Many challenges face our Nation and there are no easy answers. We gather together to unite our hearts in prayer and seek the Lord’s guidance, protection and blessing for the United State of America, its leaders and its citizens.
