Nursing is more than a Profession. It is the Art and Dedication of Passion and Creativity to help those in need, prevent complications and ensure healing and hope to each and every person as a whole. The physical demands in nursing can bring for long hours and personal sacrifice. But the greater good of the outcome of nursing interventions provided each day to nurture, educate, empower and enhance lives is so worth the time and energy. Nursing allows for so many specialties for advancement in the nursing field.
Brain Injury Rehabilitation Nursing is one speciality of nursing and a passion so deep at Acres of Hope and Aspirations to care for those affected by brain injury that it “Makes One Proud as Peacocks” to be a rehabilitation nurse. Acres's rehab nursing makes a difference to so many patients and veterans and bringing awareness to so many children, school and community groups about brain injury through creative cognitive teaching tools of Creatures of Rehab. Creatures of Rehab include fur, feather and reptile friends, some who have disabilities themselves that help with acceptance of differences and disability.
Be sure to thank any nurse who has made a difference in your Life. Empower those youth with big hearts and empathetic listening skills who want to go into the medical field.
Happy National Nurses Week to all the great nurses who live each day helping others from the rehab nursing staff and all the wonderful Creatures of Rehab from Acres of Hope and Aspirations!
