Brewers Apparel a Hot Ticket at Muskego Stores

Almost unthinkable in late September, customers head to the stores to pass by the Packer jerseys in pursuit of the latest in Brewer gear: NL Central Division Championship apparel

With basically two cracks of the bat - Ryan Braun's towering three-run home run and Alfonso Soriano's three-run home run for the Chicago Cubs to give them a lead against the St. Louis Cardinals - the Milwaukee Brewer's went from chasers to champions.  By 10:30pm, pictures on television were of crowds in the stands and in the stores, eager to get their hands on coveted Central Division Champions gear, something we haven't seen in 29 years.

In Muskego, was the place for gear beginning at 7am on Saturday, but the inventory was vanishing quickly.  Assorted sayings like "In the fall, we rise" and "Mission: October" adorned Brewer-logo apparel in kids and adult sizes, and questions from customers about inventory could be heard amid the search.

"Are you getting more in, or is this all you have?"

The standard answer: "This is what we have now, and we're not sure when or how much more will be coming in."

and had only Brewer logo accessories, and Walmart sales associates said they believed their first shipment would not arrive for a couple of days, similar to what happened when the Packers claimed the Super Bowl crown.

At Miller Park, the gift shops stayed open all night to accommodate a public whose love for their 'Crew' had obviously not waned.  Prices locally fell between just a few bucks for decals, and topped out around $65 for sweatshirts and more premium pieces.
