Busy Week for Muskego Police
This week's blotter shows an uptick in activity in Muskego, keeping police busy.

Friday, July 8 – An Oconomowoc man, who had his red Ford pickup parked on the street in the W13300 block of St. Andrews Dr. from June 29 to July 8, discovered several items missing from the truck when he returned to it. Several items, including jewelry and electronics were taken. He was not sure if he had locked the vehicle.
Saturday, July 9 – A 17 year old Muskego man was arrested for shoplifting at Pick N Save after attempting to steal two 12-packs of Red Bull.
Monday, July 11

- A 37 year old Muskego man was charged with disorderly conduct after a road rage incident involving a 19 year old Muskego woman. The male allegedly cut the woman off and she responded by honking and gesturing. The man followed her, cut her off, pounded on her vehicle and threatened her.
- A Muskego woman reported leaving her Nook e-reader in her cart when she left Wal-Mart. Surveillance showed another woman taking the device after finding it. A suspect has been identified.
- A resident in the W15100 block of Cornell Cir. reported the theft of a bicycle. On July 13, 2011, the bike was located at Kurth Park and returned to the owner.
Tuesday, July 12 – At approximately 11:45am, Muskego officers and the Tess Corners Rescue Squad were dispatched to a residence in the S6400 block of Hillendale Dr. for a possible drug overdose. A 24 year old Muskego woman was pronounced dead at Waukesha Memorial Hospital of an apparent heroin overdose.

- A resident in the S8300 block of Racine Ave reported the theft of a lawn mower, which occurred on June 28th.
- A noise complaint in the area of Saroyan Rd. and Fennimore Ln. led an officer to find several pieces of lawn furniture from around the neighborhood and Fountainwood Pool placed in the intersection.
Thursday, July 14
- For at least the third time, a silver Chevy Trailblazer with stolen license plates, stole gas from the Kwik Trip on Janesville. Rd and Racine Ave.
- A resident in the W13200 block of Saroyan Rd. reported the bench from his front yard was missing. It was recovered with the property found in the intersection and returned to him.
- A resident reported receiving a phone call from someone claiming to work for UPS, saying the resident had won a contest. The call was a scam. UPS is not running any contests. The resident saw it for what it was and did not suffer a loss.
- A resident in the apartment complex at S8450 Racine Ave. reported the burglary of their apartment. Suspects have been identified, and an investigation is continuing.
- A Muskego man reported that at approximately 8:30pm, a white male subject stopped his vehicle in the area and watched his children while they were playing in the yard in the W1500 block of Weatherwood Ct. The subject then circled the area several times. The vehicle was described as a white Hyundai with rust spots.
