Chamber of Commerce Gears Up for Gala
Annual event raises money, honors businesses and awards scholarship
The Muskego Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism is finalizing plans for its annual gala, which helps to raise funds for scholarship programs, on Thursday, March 3. The group chose one of Muskego's newest businesses as its location for the dinner and auction, the renovated High Tide restaurant. Owners had purchased William's Supper Club at the end of last year.
"This is our craziest week," said Kathy Chiaverotti, Executive Director who is also a candidate for mayor. "The planning comes down to the wire with donations for raffle items, but people really love the event and that makes it worth it."
The Chamber will also honor business of the year Alpha Plastics, beautification award winner Dr. Mary Llanas, and scholarship recipient Nicole Haupert, a senior at Muskego High School.
