Charges Filed in Domestic Stabbing Case
Accused man charged with homicide after release from hospital

Mark Shogren, 51, was formally charged on Friday with first degree intentional homicide in the stabbing incident which left both he and his wife injured after an apparent altercation in their home on Whittier Terrace on March 5.
A neighbor had called police when Shogren's wife appeared at their door asking for help just before midnight. Further details are forthcoming from the criminal complaint, which was filed in Waukesha County, where he is being held awaiting a preliminary hearing on March 16.
Muskego Police have confirmed that there will be no charges filed against Shogren's wife, who had stabbed him during the incident. They also have confirmed that Shogren has been involved in previous incidents. Court records show a pending case from February 16 of this year where he was also charged with disorderly conduct and battery.
