CITY MALL: Everyone Loves A Party, So Businesses Opt In To Jammin’ on Janesville
East to west, more than 60 businesses in Muskego are participating in the 'Jam', capitalizing on new ways to market themselves.

The eastern edge of Janesville Road in Muskego will come alive this Friday night as nearby businesses participate in the Jammin’ on Janesville kick-off festivities from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Lincoln Park Shopping Center.
The site, located at Janesville Road and College Ave., will showcase many Muskego businesses located outside of Janesville Road reconstruction zones.
“We’d like to increase awareness of our locations, gain business, make friends and meet new people,” said Christi Pryor of .

The Jammin’ on Janesville program was initially introduced by the Muskego Chamber of Commerce to help businesses prepare for upcoming Janesville Road construction through awareness and loyalty marketing efforts.
Over 60 local businesses all along Janesville Road, from Racine to College Avenues, are joining the festivities and will offer food, entertainment, prize drawings, and activities on first-of-the-month Fridays across the summer.

“We have to find new ways to market ourselves,” said Pryor, citing showroom events and free design seminars as new tactics the home remodeler uses to increase market penetration.
Julie Azmani, owner of Spa, will be introducing her business to visitors with free tanning services on Friday night.
“We want to increase awareness that we’re here and part of the Muskego business community,” said Azmani. “We’ve grown every year since we bought Glo 10 four years ago,” Azmani said, and she expects that trend to continue as their reputation for quality and good customer services grows.
The Lincoln Point Shopping Center is located at Janesville Road and College Avenue and will host businesses that include Callen Construction, Glo 10 Spa, Progressive Physical Therapy, Pyramax and Harris Banks, and Anita’s Dance Studio. Food, entertainment, and family activities will be offered throughout the Friday night event. It's the 'gateway' to the Muskego Janesville Road corridor, with businesses participating all the way west to Racine Avenue.
Other festivities will be hosted at sites along Janesville Road on the first Friday of each summer month from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with free shuttle service between events. For more details Patch readers can visit muskego.org and click on the Jammin’ on Janesville icon.
