Congressman Paul Ryan Talks Gas as Area Pump Prices Jump Dramatically
Unrest in the Middle East is making gas prices rise high and fast.

Muskego residents will soon feel an acute pain at the pump when they fill up their vehicles in the next few days. Several area gas stations are already posting prices up to 20 cents more than earlier today while other stations are still hovering around the $3.20 mark.
In perhaps an accident of good timing, Congressman Paul Ryan (R-Janesville) was in Muskego today to support the candidacy of David Craig (R-Big Bend). Craig is running for the vacant 83rd Assembly District seat that was most recently held by Scott Gunderson. He was appointed to a position with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
Ryan spoke to a small crowd, introducing Craig, and then taking questions from the group, including from Mayor John Johnson about why oil prices are rising and what it means for the average citizen.
