Crime Corner: A Lighter Week After a Busy July
Muskego Police report includes traffic stops and minor property damage

After several weeks where the listing of incidents that made the police blotter were lengthy, a seeming respite in activity, with minor theft, and arrests following traffic stops reported.
Friday, July 29 – A red, 20”, Magna BMX bike was stolen from a residence in the S6800 block of Jewel Crest Dr.

- A traffic stop on Janesville Rd. and Lincoln Dr. led to the arrest of a 19 year old Muskego man on an outstanding warrant from the City of Franklin.
- A traffic stop on Janesville Rd. and Poe’s Place resulted in the arrest of a 42 year old Milwaukee man for Operating after Suspension and an outstanding warrant from the City of Greenfield.
- A traffic stop on Janesville Rd. and Kipling Dr. resulted in the arrest of a 40 year old Dousman woman for Operating after Revocation.
Wednesday, August 3
- Ceramic lawn ornaments were taken from a yard in the S7400 block of Racine Ave.
- St. Leonard’s School reported damage to an overhead garage door and service door. They reported additional damage on August 4th.
- A resident in the W19100 block of River Oaks Ct. reported the theft of jewelry from the residence. The theft occurred sometime after March 2011.
Friday, August 5 – A home in the W17100 block of Briargate Ln. was egged overnight. The home did not sustain any permanent damage.
