Crime Corner: Another Resident Reports Stranger Eyeing Children
Must be the heat. This week's police blotter is filled with incidents.

At least five arrests were made for drinking violations this week, including underage drinking, drunken driving, and absolute sobriety offenses – showing Muskego police are serious about respecting alcohol laws. Here are some other incidents:
July 15, 2011 – A Muskego resident got a phone call claiming he’d won a free GE security system. When the resident said he didn’t need a security system, the caller replied he will need one soon. Officers called the suspect at a Maryland cell phone number but got no answer.
July 16, 2011 - A Port-a-Potty was tipped over in Denoon Park.

Thieves stole lawn decorations in the S7100 block of Lake Drive and solar landscape lights were vandalized in the S19200 block of Bay Shore Drive.
Unknown subjects went into an open garage door in the W19100 block of Bay Shore Drive and moved a motorcycle, but left without taking anything.

July 17, 2011 - Ding dong ditch was played in Champion Village and again on Hillside Drive. Ringing and running brings police and can result in charges.
A 3’ tall cement boy with a “Slow Down” sign was stolen from a yard in the S7200 block of Parkland Drive.
The driver of a dark Dodge Intrepid with stolen license plate 802NCR also stole gas from Kwik Trip. More gas was stolen from the Mobile on Janesville by a driver in a red Honda later in the week.
July 18, 2011 – Vandals dumped food on a car in the S7400 block of Racine Avenue. Vandals tossed lawn furniture into a pool on Adam Court.
After reading her Neighborhood Watch newsletter, a homeowner in the W15100 block of Cherrywood Drive reported a person was watching her children at 7:30 p.m. from a rusty white car the night before (July 17).
July 19, 2011 - Shoes, golf clubs and a bowling ball were stolen from parked cars in the W18400 block of Lions Park Drive.
July 20, 2011 - A Muskego man didn’t pay his boat launch fee at Idle Isle Park and was charged with theft - despite a previous warning.
