Crime Corner: Cell Call and Citizen Follow Up Help Muskego Police Arrest Hit and Run Suspect
Weekly report from MPD includes burglary and several cases of OWI.

Lt. Dave Constantineau of the Muskego Police Department issued these items from this week's neighborhood crime watch:
Saturday, May 21 – Two 19 year old men were arrested for drunk driving and underage drink after they tried to avoid an officer by pulling into the driveway of a home. The car sat there for several minutes with no one getting out, and the officer found it suspicious and investigated. Police stated it was 2:45am and the home was dark. The man who was driving was from Wind Lake and his passenger from Muskego was also cited with underage drinking.
Sunday, May 22 – A can full of gas was taken from a shed in the W14300 block of Settler Way.

Tuesday, May 24 - Equipment was reported stolen from G & G Specialized Carriers on Apollo Dr.

A cellular call came in shortly after 3:00 p.m. reporting a Hit & Run accident near Janesville Rd. and Racine Ave. The suspect was followed by the caller and the victim into the parking lot at Kwik Trip and then into the Muskego Industrial Park before officers stopped him on Racine Ave. near Jean Dr. The 23-year-old Wind Lake man was arrested for drunk driving and two outstanding arrest warrants.
Police arrested a 40-year-old man from Waukesha at his residence after he threatened to kill a 17 year old Wind Lake girl at the Muskego Kwik Trip. When the victim told him she would call the police, the suspect threatened to kill officers as well.
Friday, May 27 – Someone attempted to burglarize Rozman True Value on Janesville Road shortly after midnight. The investigation is continuing.
