Crime Corner: Drugs, Drinking Continue to be a Problem
Muskego Police keep up with drunk drivers, drug arrests

The stayed busy in the past two weeks, and much of the incidents involved drugs and alcohol.
Saturday, August 6 – A caller in the W19900 block of Henneberry Dr. reported a suspicious man yelling and talking to himself as he walked down the road. The 60 year old man was eventually arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

A noise complaint in the W14400 block of Belmont Dr. resulted in a 20 year old Wind Lake man and a 20 year old Muskego woman being arrested for underage drinking.
A 50 year old Illinois woman was arrested for drunk driving after a witness observed her strike two mailboxes, before pulling into the parking lot of McDonald’s about 11:20pm.

Monday, August 8 – A 73 year old Big Bend man was arrested for shoplifting at Piggly Wiggly.
Tuesday, August 9 – A 25 year old Muskego Regency employee from Wind Lake was arrested for stealing prescription medication from a resident.
Friday, August 12 –
- At approximately 1:00pm, a person reported that their white Ford Econoline work van was struck while parked in the parking lot of Pick N Save. The van sustained front end damage.
- A 22 year old New Berlin woman looking for her purse while she was driving on Janesville Rd. in front of Pick N Save, drove off the road and ran over two bicycles lying in the grass. The bike owners were not near them, and no one was injured.
Saturday, August 13 – A 911 cell call resulted in a 22 year old Muskego man being arrested for drunk driving.
Sunday, August 14 – An officer on patrol near Muskego Dr. and Hiawatha Dr. around 3:00am stopped to speak to two suspicious subjects. As a result, a 38 year old Baraboo man was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance as well as an outstanding warrant through Oak Creek for drugs.
Thursday, August 18 – A 19 year old Waterford man was arrested for Recklessly Endangering Safety, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Distribution of a Controlled Substance, after he provided K2 (a synthetic marijuana and controlled substance) to a 15 year old Muskego girl. The girl became so intoxicated and incapacitated by the drug that she was transported to the hospital.
