Crime Corner: Drunken Driving, Theft

 were kept busy over the past 10 days dealing with drunk drivers, thefts and other such activity. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were quiet, however.

The following is a brief synopsis of police reports from the City of Muskego Crime Watch Interactive Mapping System for Sunday, Dec. 18, to Wednesday, Dec. 28.

Operating while intoxicated

• A 23-year-old Waterford man was taken into custody for his first offense of operating while intoxicated Sunday Dec. 18 in the W22000 block of Kelsey Drive.
• A 23-year-old Park Ridge, IL woman was taken into custody for her first offense of operating while intoxicated Sunday, Dec. 18, in the S10200 block of Kelsey Drive.
• A 40-year-old Muskego man was taken into custody for his fourth offense of operating while intoxicated and was also charged with operating after revocation Monday, Dec. 19, in the S7000 block of Cornell Circle.
• A 29-year-old Pewaukee man was taken into custody for his second offense of operating while intoxicated Tuesday, Dec. 20, in the S9400 block of Crowbar Drive.
• A 38-year-old Waterford woman was taken into custody for her second offense of operating while intoxicated Wednesday, Dec. 28, in the S10300 block of Racine Avenue.

Possession of drug paraphernalia: An 18-year-old Muskego man and a 17-year-old Muskego man were taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia Sunday, Dec. 18, in the S7600 block of Parkland Drive.

Theft

A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was taken into custody for theft Monday, Dec. 19, in the S6500 block of Moorland Road.

Two Waterford males were taken into custody for retail theft Wednesday, Dec. 21, in the W15300 block of Janesville Road.

Burglary: A burglary to a business in the W20400 block of Janesville Road was reported Friday, Dec. 23.

Thefts from residences were reported:

• In the W14400 block of Woods Road Tuesday, Dec. 20;
• In the W17000 block of Woods Road Wednesday, Dec. 21; and
• In the S8500 block of Woods Road Friday, Dec. 23.

Thefts vehicles were reported:

•  In the W13200 block of Windsor Road Monday, Dec. 26;
• In the W18600 block of Jean Drive Tuesday, Dec. 27; and
• In the S8100 block of Brennan Drive Wednesday, Dec. 28.

Criminal damage: Damage to vehicles was reported in the W12700 block of Larkspur Road Tuesday, Dec. 20.

Taken into custody: A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was taken into custody on a warrant with the Greenfield Department Monday, Dec. 26, in the W12700 block of Janesville Road.
