Crime Corner: Muskego Care Facilities Experience Theft

MPD reports Tudor Oaks and Acres of Hope were the site of thefts.

Friday, September 9 – An attempted entry to a residence in the S7500 block of Indian Trail was reported.  The incident occurred sometime between September 1 and September 9, while the homeowners were out of town.  A suspect has been identified.

Saturday, September 10 – A resident in the S6800 block of Fennimore Lane reported the theft of a Frisbee golf goal from the back yard.
 

Monday, September 12 –

  • The staff at Tudor Oaks Health Center reported that they believed a staff member may be responsible for the theft of prescription drugs.  A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
  • A Muskego resident reported that a person known to him kicked and damaged his car while it was parked at a residence in the S10300 block of Cindy Ct.  The suspect also grabbed the victim by the throat.  The investigation is continuing.
  • An employee of Pick N Save reported a parking lot pole was struck by a vehicle, which then left the area after dropping its license plate.  The 42 year old Muskego man who was driving the vehicle was unaware of the accident and agreed to pay for the minor damages.

Tuesday, September 13 - Two vehicles were entered and property taken between 3:00pm and 4:15pm, while they were parked at Acres of Hope and Aspiration.  Two subjects operating a silver car, possibly a Monte Carlo, were observed northbound on Moorland Rd., throwing property taken from the cars out the window.

  • A traffic stop near Larkspur Rd. and Longfellow Lane resulted in a 23 year old Franklin man being arrested for his 3rd drunk driving offense, as well as possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
  • A report was received of a stop sign down at the intersection of Lannon Dr. and Martin Dr.
  • Firewood and scrap was stolen from a residence near the intersection of College Ave. and Gold Dr.  A suspect has been identified.

Thursday, September 15 –

  • An officer on patrol found an open overhead door on a building in the W19100 block of Enterprise Dr.  The building was checked with no problems found.
  • A resident in the S10300 block of North Shore Dr. reported a suspicious person laying in their yard around 5:15pm.  The subject was located walking on Kelsey Dr. and was given a ride to Hales Corners.
