Crime Corner: School's Back in Session, Muskego Police Note Decline in Incidents

Burglary of area business, apartment among the more serious reports for the week.

Saturday, September 3 – A van parked at a residence in the S8800 block of Windover Ct. was vandalized and lawn chairs removed from the property.

Sunday, September 4 –

  • An officer on patrol about 12:20am came upon an occupied suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Wal-Mart.  The officer made contact with the two 20 year old Wind Lake men in the car, and they were subsequently arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.  A 27 year old Muskego man was arrested and charged on September 9th in connection with this incident.
  • A burglary to Paradise Pools was reported.  An 18 year old Muskego man was arrested and charged with the crime.

Monday, September 5 –

  • A resident reported that the speedometer cable on a speed boat stored at a residence on East Shore Dr. was damaged sometime between August 14th and August 28th.
  • Two 17 year old Muskego girls were charged with possession of a controlled substance after a neighbor reported he believed they were trying to gain entry to a residence in the W19900 block of Holly Patch Ct.
  • An apartment in the W18400 block of Lions Park Dr. was burglarized between 4:15pm and 4:45pm, with a television being stolen.

Wednesday, September 7 – A set of four rims and tires were stolen from the back of a truck parked at a storage building in the S8000 block of Durham Dr.
