Crime Corner: Three Teens Revive "Ding Dong Ditch"

Police reports include several cases of theft including an iPod, money, a car, air pistols and a hubcap. In other news, the game of "ding dong ditch" was alive and well in the neighborhood around St. Leonard's Catholic Church, and a hit-and-run accident was reported as well.
Feb. 11, 2011

• A 38 year-old Muskego woman was taken into custody for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) after driving her vehicle into a ditch on Hardtke Dr. During the same incident, a 40 year-old Waukesha man, believed to by a friend of the woman, was also taken into custody for OWI after he drove to the scene to assist the woman get her car out of the ditch.
• Three Muskego boys, two 14 year olds and a 13 year old, were playing “ding dong ditch” in the area of St. Leonard’s Church. The boyss were told that they could be ticketed if they didn't cease the behavior.
• An iPod was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the S6800 block of Fennimore Lane

• A hubcap was reported stolen from a car parked in a driveway in the W19700 block of Prospect Dr.

Feb. 15, 2011

• A 51 year-old Muskego woman called police to report money stolen from her purse while she was using a computer at the Muskego Public Library. Police have identified two suspects and continue to investigate.

Feb. 17, 2011

• A 48 year-old Muskego man reported his 1993 Honda Civic and cash were stolen from his home in the W18500 block of Janesville Rd. He suspected his 50 year-old, live-in girlfriend. After the car was found in West Milwaukee, the woman was taken into custody for theft and operating without Owner’s Consent.

Feb. 19, 2011

• Police received reports that vehicles and a garage door were spray painted with graffiti in the W13200 and W13300 blocks of Saroyan Rd. Residents believe the damage occurred between 11:00pm on Feb. 18 and 12:30am on Feb. 19.

Feb. 23, 2011

• A 16 year-old Cudahy boy was taken into custody for suspicion of stealing air pistols from Wal-Mart on Moorland Road.

Feb. 24, 2011

• A hit-and-run was reported at the corner of Janesville Road and Lannon Drive. A Franklin woman was driving and reported to police that the vehicle that struck her was a green Saturn VUE. No one was injured in the accident. Police have identified a suspect and are continuing their investigation.
