Do you know a female youth in need of a mentor?

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee is enrolling Little Sisters in Waukesha County for our Community-based program.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee (BBBS) is currently accepting applications for girls ages 6-12 looking for a mentor. Our mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

During the match process, children and families identify needs, goals and expectations for the mentoring relationship. Our staff carefully evaluates each child and volunteer, using criteria such as location, interests, personality, experiences and preferences to create a mentoring match.

We recruit volunteers throughout our community, from colleges and universities, corporations and community events. All potential volunteers undergo multiple levels of screening and attend orientation and training before committing to a minimum two-year mentoring relationship.
