Donation Canister Stolen from Kwik Trip
Muskego Police have a solid lead, thanks to surveillance video, and a 'great citizen.'
Muskego Police Captain John Latour confirmed that the Kwik Trip at the corner of Janesville Road and Racine Avenue had a donation canister taken from its counter.
"Basically, the suspect just walked in, grabbed the jar and left," Latour said.
The "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" fundraising jar was on the counter in the convenience store. The organization is affiliated with Kwik Trip, and is designed to help families experiencing some type of crisis or disaster. According to manager Bob Yesbeck, there was about $15-$20 in the jar at the time.

Latour confirmed they believe the same suspect has committed similar robberies twice in West Allis, and that a reliable witness on the scene along with "great surveillance video from the store," meant that MPD was confident they will soon be making an arrest.
While Latour would not provide a detailed description, he stated, "We'll get him. It's just a matter of him showing up, but we know who he is and we are confident it will be soon."
