Enjoy a Night of Friendship at Tuesdays With Morrie Production

Celebrate friendship at a historic venue built by it.

This Friday, Sunset Playhouse will offer friends an opportunity to experience just how special life and friendship are during the theatre’s Tuesdays with Morrie production, set for 8 p.m. at 800 Elm Grove Road in Elm Grove.

The play, written by Jeffery Hatcher and Mitch Albom, is based on Albom’s bestselling book by the same name.  Mitch is a middle-aged man who visits his chronically ill friend and former sociology professor, Morrie, during Morrie’s final struggles with Lou Gehrig’s disease.

The history of the venue itself is also one of friendship, joy, and hard work, according to its website It’s actually the first playhouse in Wisconsin to have been built entirely by a community theatre group and was incorporated in the mid 1950s.
