The Muskego High School Music Department proudly presents this year's musical, AIDA. Aida is set in ancient Egypt, and it focuses on the story of forbidden love between a would-be Pharaoh and a Nubian slave woman. Tim Rice wrote the lyrics and the music is by Elton John. The musical score is eclectic, and it includes styles that range from reggae to Motown to gospel to Sir Elton John's very own pop "sound." There are nearly 100 students working on the show in various capacities including actors, stage crew, dance troupe, and orchestra musicians. Ticket prices are $6 in advance ($7 at the door); seniors age 55 and above and children age 12 and under the price is $5. All seats are reserved. Tickets are available for all performances and can be purchased at the PAC box office or by calling 262-971-1790, ext. 4545.
The Music Department is collecting donations for the Muskego Food Pantry. Bring non-perishable items when you attend the musical or any band/choir concert and place in the barrel in the PAC lobby. Thank you.
