GODSPELL, which means Gospel In the old English, is one of musical theatres brightest and most innovative shows. It was a groundbreaking show in the way it transformed the stories and language of the Bible into simple, everyday situations and speech. The show consists of songs and parables which deliver specific life lessons.
GODSPELL begins with John the Baptist played by Julian Bonack singing “Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord.” Throughout the play, Jesus, played by Nathan Wranovsky tells us stories accompanied by a fantastic cast through song and dance. Some of the fun numbers include All for the Best, Day by Day, and All Good Gifts. Please come out and enjoy a wonderful inspiring production of Godspell at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and School. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for students and may be purchased the day of the musical.
