St. Leonard Outdoor Rosary

Each year we hold this event on the playground at the south end of the school. This is form of prayer for peace. The 6th grade students will draw a roasary, consisting of beads that are 4 feet in diameter. When the school gathers to pray, students will stand around the outside of the rosary. When it is time to recite the prayer for a particular bead, the students assigned to that bead will step into the center of the bead and lead the prayer. This will be repeated until all 59 beads have students standing in them.
