Football Guide: Muskego Warriors Roll On
Looking to build off big victory over Kenosha Tremper, they move on to Racine Park.
Fresh off its biggest win of the season, the undefeated football team hits the road again for a Southeast Conference game against Racine Park 7 p.m. Friday at Horlick Field (1648 N. Memorial Dr.).
Here is a closer look at the 2011 Warriors:
Last week: In a battle between unbeatens, the Warriors (4-0, 2-0 SEC) wore down Kenosha Tremper for a 34-19 victory at Ameche Field in Kenosha, while Racine Park (2-2, 1-1) shut out Racine Horlick, 28-0.

Rankings: Muskego moved up four spots to No. 4 in Division 1 in the WisSports.net state coaches poll , No. 8 in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel state poll among all schools, tied for 14th in the Associated Press large division state poll and No. 4 in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel area poll .
Recent history: The Warriors defeated Park 42-7 last season as Luke Przybylka rushed for 225 yards and a touchdown and Connor Anderson caught a pair of TD passes from Adam Schulz.

FYI: With last week’s victory, Muskego snapped a six-game losing streak to Tremper. It was the Warriors first victory over the Trojans since winning 14-6 in the 2005 season. … Senior running backs Brady Simkowski (28 carries, 218 yards, 2 TDs) and Roland Dunlap (15 carries, 207 yards, three TDs) were a two-man wrecking crew. … Dunlap’s TD runs covered 23, 30 and 54 yards, while Simkowski’s TDs covered 1 and 52 yards. … With the game tied 7-7 at halftime, the Warriors rushed for 326 of their 430 yards in the second half against the Trojans. … The Warriors are averaging 48.3 points (10th in the state) through four games.
Quoteworthy: “Every day we do a lot of conditioning (in practice) – gassers, running back and forth on the field – so we know that we’re a second-half team,” Dunlap said. “That’s what we were saying in the locker room at halftime. We were like, ‘OK, guys. This is our time to shine.’ That’s what we went out and did.”
