Former Preschool Teacher Pleads Not Guilty to Drug Possession

Kiley N. Cirillo, 20, of Muskego, is accused of having heroin delivered to her while she worked at a local preschool.

A 20-year-old Muskego woman who is accused of having heroin delivered to her while she was a teacher at Hales Corners Lutheran Preschool, 12555 W. Janesville Road, pleaded not guilty to several misdemeanor charges in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Monday.

Kiley N. Cirillo was charged June 28 in Waukesha County Circuit Court with attempted possession of narcotic drugs, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted, she faces up to a year in jail and $11,500 in fines.

New Berlin police officers were called to Hales Corners Lutheran Preschool, 12555 W. Janesville Road, after school staff believed they found illegal drugs inside a Culver’s food bag that had been delivered at the school for Cirillo, according to the complaint.

Another employee at the school received the bag after Cirillo told him a friend was dropping off food at 2:40 p.m. May 9. Inside, the employee located an opened box of candy and a wad of Kleenex wrapped around tinfoil with what appeared to be drugs, according to the criminal complaint. The employee told police Cirillo had approached him looking for the package, so he told her it hadn’t arrived yet.
