Gas Prices Edge Up Over $4
Despite a claim of stabilizing prices in the industry, Muskego stations pass $4 mark.
It's not unexpected, but seeing a '4' in the first spot on the gas station marquis still makes motorists wince.
The recent tour we took of the Janesville strip showed that the Citgo on Tess Corners Drive and Janesville was at $4.05, as was the Jetz station on the corner of Moorland Road and Janesville. Further west into the downtown area, prices were holding at $3.99 (which really is only one-tenth of a cent below $4), including Shell and Mobil. Johnny's Citgo was the lowest at $3.95.
At the Jetz Station, one motorist remarked, "it would be nice if our 'bonus points' got us something better than a cup of coffee, especially when you have to spend more to get it."

Statewide, gas prices average $3.987 per gallon according to WisconsinGasPrices.com, which places Wisconsin at 41st on the list.
