Jammin' on Janesville Highlights Busy August Weekend

Friday night's Jammin' on Janesville — the last of three this summer — is the biggest thing happening in Muskego this weekend, but there's plenty of other ways to enjoy your days off.

Here's a look at what else is happening in the region:

Milwaukee Air and Water Show: Military and stunt planescombine with powerboats for this display of power on the lakefront Saturday and Sunday. It’s recommended you park in Veteran’s Park or O’Donnell Park, and best place to view is north of Veteran’s Park.

Fair guide: It’s the first full weekend of the Wisconsin State Fair. Consult our handy State Fair guide for pertinent information, and then vote for your favorite new foods and favorite foods on a stick.

Brewers in town: The Milwaukee Brewers are home against Washington Friday through Sunday for a three-game series, the first games in which the team’s $10 voucher program is in place. Everyone attending an August game at Miller Park receives the voucher to go toward concessions, merchandise or a ticket later this year.

EAA Airventure: The massive celebration of experimental aircraft and all things that fly continues through Monday in Oshkosh. If you like anything airborne, this is the place to be.
