Man Caught With Heroin After Accident

Suspect flees the scene of an accident, but is later pulled over in Muskego with items used to cook up heroin inside his car.

A 32-year-old Muskego man is facing charges after he allegedly got caught with heroin in his car after a hit-and-run accident.

Timothy M. Weisner was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Friday with one count of possession of narcotic drugs. If convicted, he faces up to 3 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines.

On Jan. 16, Muskego police officers were called to assist in a hit-and-run accident and to find a car involved in the accident. Officers found the car near Racine Avenue and Janesville Road and pulled it over.

Weisner was the only person inside the car and he had poor balance and needed to be helped out of the vehicle by officers. They found a syringe and a metal container used to cook heroin inside the car and Wesiner was arrested for first offense operating while intoxicated.

He will make his initial appearance in court Aug. 20.
