At 5:03 a.m. Nov. 10, police were called to a residence in the S7900 block of Ancient Oaks Drive after Reyes’ uncle reported he found his car missing while he was getting ready to leave for work. He suspected his nephew in the crime, and while talking to officers, Reyes pulled up in the car.
Reyes initially told police he took the car to go to his ex-girlfriend’s house due to an emergency with one of his children. However, the officer found the pipe and pills and Reyes admitted buying them from a friend.
