Man Charged With Selling Marijuana to Police Informant

Suspect sells informant drugs twice, then on the third occasion he tells the informant he still owes money.

A 19-year-old Muskego man is facing felony drug charges after he allegedly sold marijuana to a police informant on two separate occasions.

The man was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Friday with two counts of manufacture and deliver of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, and one count of maintaining a drug trafficking place. If convicted, he faces up to 10 ½ years in prison and $30,000 in fines.

On Feb. 6, an informant working with the Waukesha County Metro Drug Unit contacted investigators to let them know the man was willing to sell a quarter ounce of marijuana for $80. The deal was arranged in the parking lot of a business in the W18800 block of Janesville Road and it was completed.

On Feb. 9, the informant set up a deal where the man agreed to sell an ounce of marijuana for $350. The deal took place in the same parking lot that day.

The informant set up a third buy on Feb. 21 where he would buy another ounce for $400. This time they met at a business on Racine Avenue, but the man told the informant he owed $160 and he didn’t have any marijuana with him.

The man will make his initial appearance in court Sept. 17.
