At 2:22 a.m. Aug. 23, Muskego police were called to a residence in the W18900 block of Tan Drive after a man there said a man named "Lyle" was at his door threatening him because he had visited with his wife while the man was in prison. He said Lyle was banging at the door and then the victim heard a pop, which was either a gunshot or fireworks being shot off.
Police then responded to the Lubecke’s residence and set up a perimeter. They called the house and Lubecke and his wife were belligerent with police, saying Lyle was his sister’s husband and he refused to come out of the house.

Lubecke eventually agreed to come out, but told officers he would only meet on his property and not city property in the road. He began to comply with the officer after coming outside and was walking towards a squad car when the initial victim came around, causing Lubecke to start swearing and threatening the man again in front of officers.
Lubecke eventually had to be stunned with a taser and was then taken into custody. He told officers he was upset with the neighbor for having an affair with his sister and he had been drinking earlier in the night. "Lyle" was not found in the residence.
He will make his initial appearance in court April 2.
