Meeting Preview: Muskego Parks To Hear Progress on Idle Isle, Park Arthur

Renovation efforts at Idle Isle will be discussed, and making sure Muskego's latest park development doesn't suffer another setback through vandalism.

The Muskego Parks and Recreation Board  will meet at 5:30pm at , and their agenda features several items that neighbors have been keeping tabs on.

Mark Moriarty will sit down with the board to discuss a review of the Water Bugs Ski Team season. Generally, it's a matter of noise and boat traffic that will raise the most complaints from area residents, but indications have been that this year has shown improvement.

Recent damage done by someone who entered the Park Arthur development from a point that wasn't even designated as an entrance will also be discussed.  While Craig Anderson, parks director, had said the damage was minimal, an estimate for fixing the ruts in order to get restitution from the driver has been ordered.  In taking care of that, the board will also hear about a possible donation for the archery range in the park from the Muskego Kiwanis Club.
