MHS Students Receive Scholarships in Recognition of Service

Area service clubs honor students' service in school and community.

The Whitnall Park Rotary Club honored two Muskego High School graduates at its annual scholarship luncheon on Tuesday.

Jacob Berlyn and Zachary York each received $1,000 scholarships in recognition of their involvement with service groups in school and in their community.

Berlyn has been active in band and was a drum major, the National Honor Society, and was vice president of the Tri-M music fraternity and president of Mu Alpha Theta, a math honor society.  He will attend UW-Madison but said he has yet to declare a major.
