MPD Explorers Honored
Law enforcement training for teens fosters interest in post-secondary education in related careers.

Monday night the Muskego Police Department held its citizen and police awards ceremony at City Hall. Along with the adults who demonstrated 'the right stuff' in helping others, a younger group was also present for their accomplishments.
Lt. David Constantineau praised the group for their dedication in learning and applying what they've learned in various competitions. Tactical response, conflict resolution, crime scene, mock trials and physical agility are all areas of competition posts compete in, with the Muskego post taking first at a competition in Hartford early in the year.
"We have former explorers who are now moving into the law enforcement field, applying for and earning employment in the law enforcement field," Constantineau, who is the Post's head advisor, said. "We also have older explorers who help to guide younger, less experienced explorers. The result is young people entering the work field, confident in their abilities. I could not be prouder of them."
